Jet Blue offers more services from Boston to Florida
CAPA) Jet Blue Airways announced plans to add extra services between Boston and Florida. Jet Blue has added five new services -- one each to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, Tampa, and West Palm Beach -- and now offers up to 28 daily services between Logan and Florida, more than any other airline.
In addition to the new services from its Boston focus city, JetBlue is also adding service to Orlando this Winter from Burlington and Portland.
The new services are part of an ongoing expansion of service in Boston that has made Jet Blue the fastest-growing airline at Logan International Airport. From its newly renovated home in Terminal C, Jet Blue offers service to 28 destinations in the United States, Aruba, the Bahamas, Bermuda, and Mexico. New service to Santiago in the Dominican Republic will commence on 12-Dec-07. In addition, connecting service operated by Jet Blue's marketing partner, Cape Air, is available through Boston for customers travelling between Florida and Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Provincetown, and Hyannis. ***

Jet Blue's Inflight Entertainment named best in the Americas
(CAPA) Jet Blue Airways, the first major US airline to provide live television and personal seatback screens to all customers on all services, has been recognised by the World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA) for offering travelers the best overall inflight entertainment experience in the Americas. The award was announced during the WAEA's 19th Annual Avion Awards in Toronto.
Avion Award winners were selected by more than 36,000 worldwide airline passengers surveyed by Skytrax, the leader in airline passenger opinion studies, about their inflight entertainment experiences.

Jet Blue appoints Glenn Hipp Vice President - Supply Chain and Fuel
(CAPA) Jet Blue Airways announced the appointment of Glenn Hipp to the position of Vice President - Supply Chain and Fuel. Mr Hipp will be responsible for company-wide sourcing efforts, corporate purchasing, as well as Jet Blue's fuel procurement strategy. He will report to John Harvey, Jet Blue's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
