The airline holds a virtual monopoly for intra-Caribbean flights, and it shows. Once they canceled a flight because of "technical reasons". Rolling Carry-On Luggage

By Tom Tessin
When you're ready to take your next trip, you're going to want to potentially bring some carry-on luggage, since most airlines are going to charge you for checking your bag in nowadays. This has forced a lot of the people that generally check in their bags to bring carry-on bags, and I don't blame them for it! Not only are they going to save money, they are going to be able to know where their bags are at all times.

When it comes to looking at carry-on bags, I highly recommend you check out a bag with wheels. It's going to be a lot easier to tote around the airport, and it's also going to be easier for you to store things in your bags. You're going to find that the bags with wheels have a lot more space than one that just props over your shoulder. This is why I always look at a few of the luggage online to see which one best suit you. Remember though that some airlines have restrictions when it comes down to carry on that you should be aware of.

Carry-on luggage is going to be a hot item when many people start to know about the checked in baggage fee. As more people learn about this, they are going to resort into buying a luggage that they can bring on the plane. When looking for something like this, make sure that it's not too big, nor too small. As long as you do your research, and all of your clothing and materials will fit in it, you should do just fine.

How to Get Cheap Flights Today

By Kim T Chambers
When you are booking a flight, the advice, which I think is now common knowledge is book flights as early as possible. Business travellers will pay high prices and since they usual travel at short notice, airlines hike prices for last minute bookings.

To ensure you get flights that are as cheap as possible check websites of the airlines and comparison sites since prices often as sales often happen and prices change fairly often too. Once you have your destination check all operators to find the best or maybe the most suitable time to travel. Many of you might prefer to pay a bit more than be up at 4am for a 6am flight! Depends on you of course, these times might suit you if you are going on a short break and want to make the most of the day.

There are other ways to further reduce the cost of your flights. Many of the operators offer branded credit cards which have incentives attached to encourage you to sign up. If you are a savvy person you will sign up for the incentive and cancel the credit card if the card doesn't continue to be of benefit to you. Again in you are looking for a flight search about to see what offers are on at the moment. Some offer you free return flights; others allow you to get free upgrades, business class, thank you! Do check the conditions of the offer to ensure they are reasonable and easy enough for you to obtain.

If you are after a cheap flight be aware the cheapest have very strict conditions, ensure you can fly at these times as it is very difficult to get a refund and can be expensive to change dates, it may actually work out cheaper to book a new flight. If you are booking flights as part of a package holiday the operator will be ATOL protected so should the company go bust you will be guaranteed a refund or if you are on your flight you will have a return flight home organised for you.

I Hate Flying

Today I am travelling to visit my youngest son in California. We do this trip a couple of times each year to pick him up, take him home or simply to visit. Something strikes me though: is there such a thing as a good flight? I have travelled on most major airlines. But nothing ever seems to go to plan. The lines are long. They always manage to mess up your ticket or seats...or something. Besides the fact that I hate flying, I HATE flying. Not a good situation when you live in one country and have family in another. Of course now is the time that many people are preparing to travel either for Spring Break or planning their summer holidays. So how does flying rank in terms of the Frugal Fam core values?

Family first. I must give flying high marks in this category. It is highly unlikely that hubby and I would have met and married were it not for relatively cheap air travel. And of course, it is a complete life saver in terms of my relationship with my son and other family in the USA. On the other hand, travelling with young children is a complete and total nightmare...almost every time. When I remember the road trips we would take as a family, even the litany of 'are we there yet's' cannot compare to the simple option of pulling over for awhile to let the children run and play. Unfortunately, air planes offer very little in way of stops.

Save money. This is probably the biggest reason why the road trip became such a family favourite. What family of four can afford to fly when it is much cheaper to drive to any destination? Even including some meals and hotels, the road trip is often more economical than flying. And who can forget the 'fun' of the actual trip such as depicted in American Lampoon's Family Vacation. Of course, Christie Brinkley better stay away from my hubby.

Environmentally friendly. Don't be fooled flying is one of the worst polluters, because the planes emissions are going into the upper atmosphere where their effects are compounded. Of course, airlines try to sell you trees to 'offset' your travel, but this is not a proven technique to compensate for your emissions. It is more about making you feel less guilty about flying so you will do it more.

Healthier. There can be health effects of flying as well. In addition to air quality issues and the ease of spreading germs in such tight quarters, there can also be problems in terms of blood circulation. On very long flights such as mine from London to Los Angeles, there is the risk of blood clots developing...perhaps even life threatening.

If it seems that I am a bit anti-flying that is because our flight was one of the worst. That does not change the fact that all the points I have made are true. But for our family with members in two different countries, flying is an unfortunate necessity. The family friendly trumps all other values as I said would sometimes happen. Do I feel guilty about the damage I am causing the environment? You bet I do. But until we are once again are on the same continent, we have no other viable choices. In complete honesty, I am probably such a stickler about the 3R's because I am so aware of the damage that families like ours are doing.

But if you have a choice, the best alternative to meet all the Frugal Fam core values is road trips close to home. The family vacation we took most of my life are prime examples. We lived in upstate South Carolina and almost every year we spent a week in Charleston. It was about a three to four hour drive, which for fighting siblings is just about the perfect limit. A couple of years, we instead went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee; a slightly longer drive but still relatively close. The notable exception was our infamous trip to Washington, DC. It reminds me of flying, because basically anything that could go wrong...did.

Of course, the pity is that many of us live in what others would consider ideal vacation spots, yet we take them for granted. When was the last time that you truly explored your city? Could you not save the hotel and travel costs by vacationing at home? Pretending you are a tourist in your own home...and rediscover the beauty of the place you live.

Cure For Fear of Flying

By Elias Ehrhardt
Fear of flying thrive when you stay in a certain state of mind. In order for you to avoid or cure fear of flying, you have to change your state of mind.
Here is how you change your state of mind so that flying will no longer cause you to be afraid.

Fear makes you alert and focused to protect you from harm & danger, this brings you into a certain state of mind. When you are afraid of flying, you can get into a bad thought process and the result is you will get anxious.

The natural way to cure anxiety is to think of something that makes you relax and happy.
This is not always that easy, especially if you haven't been in the air before, or you haven't been flying for a long time.

People take prescription medicine as a solution. Some people use alcohol to make them relax when they feel anxiety while flying. We all know that pills are not good for us and alcohol the same.

The perfect alternative is binaural beats.

What are binaural beats?
Binaural beats are specially generated sound frequencies that can be used to alter your brainwaves and influence your state of mind.

How binaural beats work?
Binaural beat recordings work by sending certain slightly different tones to the left and right ears. This creates a third "binaural beat" inside the mind at a specific frequency. This frequency is specifically chosen to generate a certain mood, such as relaxation or creativity. The binaural beat frequency may change multiple times during a session to give you the best experience possible.

A binaural beat typically lasts between 25-60 minutes and can be heard multiple times. You can use listen to them on mp3 player during checking in the airport, this way you won't get anxious while waiting. You can also play a beat on the plain that makes you relaxed or even sleep.

Binaural beats are safe and harmless, do not use them if you suffer from epilepsy.

Visit http://www.artproductreviews.com for reviews on binaural beats products.

Look for binaural beats that makes you relax (theta, delta) not focused and alert (beta, alpha). Being alert and focused will increase fear & anxiety, being relaxed will decrease it.

Cure for fear of flying! With binaural beats, fears and anxiety can be cured within mintutes. When you start feeling anxious and afraid, play the binaural beat and wait a few minutes untill the beat start to work. Try to keep your mind occupied with happy thoughts.

Are You Afraid to Fly?

By Al Carmickle
Many people are concerned about flying and are often referred to as "white-knuckle-flyers." I retired after thirty six years as a pilot for a major airline. Every pilot during his or her career has experienced situations where they've thought it would be nice to be on the ground instead of in the air. However, such experiences are not reasons that would make us afraid to fly.

I have also experienced conditions while driving that have made me wish I was home instead. I still drive even though I know a certain percentage of the cars coming toward me on the road are driven by drivers under the influence of alcohol, drugs or fatigue. Many of the drivers are talking or texting on their cell-phones. I remember one woman I pulled up next to on the freeway who was reading a book while she was doing 60 miles an hour in her car.

The chance of one of these inebriated or preoccupied idiots smashing into you far exceeds your risk of injury in an airplane. We just ignore the risk associated with driving because we think we are in control when we're behind the wheel of our vehicle. We conveniently forget or ignore the fact that we have no control over the other vehicles on the road. Control is a major issue when flying in an airplane. As a passenger you have no control of the airplane and it creates a great amount of apprehension for you.

This lack of control is a major factor for many white-knuckle-flyers. There are other factors to include turbulence that creates concern for passengers. It certainly doesn't help when there is an airline accident. Just yesterday, as I write this, Air France lost an airplane over the Atlantic Ocean. Accidents do happen but you probably are at greater risk of being injured in your bathtub than you are of getting injured in an airplane.

I certainly am an expert when it comes to flying airplanes. I'm from the old school that subscribes to the theory that I am going to park at the gate and deplane and therefore so will you. It's just that simple as far as pilots are concerned.

My wife, also a retired airline captain, had such great concern for worried passengers she created an e-book and CD that answers many questions and fears. Her information is some of the best I have ever seen and has helped many fearful fliers.

Help on How to Overcome Fear of Flying

By Trevor Johnson
Overcoming the fear of flying should start with the most obvious aspect. This is the safety of air travel. A good place to start would be to write down some reasons why air travel is actually safer than many other methods of travel. Consider there are millions of people flying every day around the world and you're very seldom hear of accidents, then there is no need to be afraid of flying.

When you consider the safety issues, which is probably why you are frightened of flying, think about how frequent car accidents are for example. You probably not afraid of cars, and are undoubtedly going to be other things you do in your life which are actually more dangerous than flying. What is ironic is, that you probably not even afraid of these more dangerous issues.

Many people are afraid of flying because of turbulence and minor issues such as that. Turbulence is a very normal thing that happens to some extent or another in almost every flight. Plains are designed to tolerate this and there is really no need to worry at all. If anything, think of it is a bit of a fun ride. It is extremely rare that turbulence is dangerous.

Refer to this list every time you're about to fly and you should find you start feeling comforted by it. Consider the reasons and advantages of flying and why you need to overcome the fear of flying.

If you're fear is particularly severe, you might want to try some kind of psychological therapy or opt for one of the more experimental procedures such as hypnotism. Another good idea would be to avoid watching the many absurd Hollywood movies which often depict completely unrealistic things such as air crashes. Do not let yourself be influenced by fiction.

Shrinking Seat Insomnia Cause Travelers to Buy Sleep Aids

By Chance Buckman
"How was your Flight?" These days this phrase is more commonly used with a much stronger sense of Ironic Humor than the friendly pleasantry. Where once there was great food, service, and space there is now a la carte menus, over worked staff, and urgency to stake claim for you and your bags. The fact that the modern day traveler has less and less space to call their own is driving the need to tune out however possible. The use of OTC (over-the-counter) sleep aids is quickly becoming a winning solution.

As the cost of checked baggage and an increase in occupancy continue to be the one loop holes the airline industry has found to remain profitable in a recessed economy with ballooning gas prices two things has transitively gone down; storage space and leg room. The overhead compartment is now packed to rim with vacation luggage poorly disguised as carry-on, and the calculation for seating has been optimized for cash not comfort. A recent article by CNN Money states, "The money-losing airline industry reaped more than $1 Billion last year from excess baggage fees, says DOT (Department of Transportation)." The article goes on to say, "excess luggage fees could total $3.5 billion in 2009." Two measurements determine the seat room provided: seat (cushion) width and front-to-rear spacing. The standards have done little to represent the effect of the chair front of you seemingly dropping into your lap or the true required width of a body being the shoulders and not the hips.

With empty pockets and sore knees consumers are turning towards simple traditional remedies to help them get through the long flight. According to MedicineNet, "MIT results of a meta-analysis of 17 peer-reviewed studies using melatonin. It showed that melatonin was effective in helping people fall asleep". It also states, "Melatonin may be useful for treating sleep disturbances." Melatonin is quickly becoming the remedy to fill the growing demand of irritated travelers, a simple homeopathic remedy to battle against the harsh forces of airline insomnia.

So remember to be careful up there and pack some dull reading material next time.

7 'Need to Know' Rules For Booking a Flight Online

By Patricia Thomasson
Here are the 7 rules you need to know to make sure you have a successful experience booking a flight online. News reports have made us painfully aware of the difficulties that the airlines have been having in recent years. To try to succeed financial, many of the airlines have drastically cut back on the number of flights scheduled. This makes it necessary for traveling people to plan ahead and work smart in order to have a pleasant experience.

Rule One: You need to start shopping early if you're booking a flight for any holidays, a wedding, or a luxury cruise. There have been capacity cuts on all the airlines these last couple of years, so there will be fewer seats for those holiday flights.

If you're going on an impromptu trip, you can look and book at the last minute, but if you HAVE to be there for Christmas or Mother's Day or a wedding or that cruise, booking a flight at least six weeks ahead is probably a good idea.

Rule Two: Based on the experience of Internet booking gurus, it is suggested that the best time to shop for your flight online is a Monday or Tuesday. Airlines typically lower fares early in the week and raise them again toward the weekend. A website like Kayak.com will do a comprehensive fare search for you and give you a head start on your quest for booking a flight. This should return a list of flights with the best schedule and price.

Rule Three: You may want to drive to a smaller airport in your area to avoid crowds and maybe you might even save money. You may find that airfares and parking can be cheaper at those outlying airports too.

Rule Four: If your time off allows it, try to fly on non-peak days. In the U.S. a good rule is to avoid the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Sunday after because both of those are definitely PEAK travel days and will be the most expensive.

Rule Five: In addition to checking flights on only the broad search engines are the place to look, check airline sites in your search for booking a flight. Airlines pay commissions to other booking engines, so more and more they are posting the best air fares on their own sites. You may find specials that other search engines can't find. These non-advertised specials often pop up for a short time.

Rule Six: You will want to try to avoid itineraries that involve several connections or several airlines. Every stop and connection is a possible problem for missed connections. You might save a couple of dollars if every thing goes right, but you'll have a real headache if things go wrong. If you've got to be there, a couple of extra bucks for a non-stop or direct flight is well worth the peace of mind! Be sure to get up early and catch the first flight as it is the one that is least likely to be delayed.

Rule Seven: For those "must be there" trips such as for a holiday, a wedding, or a cruise, we suggest booking your flight at least 24 hours before you need to be there. If you have a connection, make sure there is enough time to get to the next plane in case the first one is delayed. Look for a minimum connection time of two hours.

Weather delays happen summer or winter and the airlines are not responsible for these. The airlines will not compensate you. They will try to get you on the next available flight, but that might not be until the next day, and if you haven't allowed enough time, you may miss the boat or the wedding.

Follow these seven rules and you will prevent some of the headaches that might develop if your airline flights go astray. Be smart and plan well when you're booking a flight online and your trip will get off to a good start and as a bonus you'll arrive on time.

A Guide to Private Jets

By Seomul Evans
If you want to enjoy the best flying experience of your entire life, then you will rent your own plane. Private jets offer comfort, luxury, and great customer service. In addition, you will avoid the hassle and the hustle and bustle of airports. Private jets are a new way to fly that give customers more rights and more privileges, and so, many people are now flying with private jets. We will analyze the following four steps.

1) Private jets are very comfortable.
2) Private jets offer the greatest customer service money can buy.
3) When you rent a jet, you don't have to deal with the horrible atmosphere of the airport.
4) You can now rent a private plane at an economical price. Here we go.

Comfort and Luxury

Private jets offer the paradigm of comfort. You have space to do whatever you want on a private jet. You can play cards, lounge around, hang out, and generally you are the master of your own domain. You will enjoy maximum comfort, because simply, you have more room than on a commercial airline. Also, you set the timetable for the flight. You plan the itineraries, and you can even decide how long you want your layovers to last. It's so relaxing to have these benefits.

The Tip Top of Customer Service

Charter airlines and private jets offer the greatest customer service you can imagine. Since jobs in the charter airline sector are very competitive, only the best of the best gain work in the charter airline industry. These people are utterly devoted to giving you the best customer service possible. They will bend over backward to ensure that you have a great time on the private jet.

Avoid the Hassle

If you rent a private jet, you will avoid long lines, cancelled and delayed flights, bad customer service, and crowded flights. You don't have to deal with the normal stress that troubles people when they fly commercially. In fact, you don't even have to pass through a rigorous security screening. In any case, flying on a private jet is way more relaxing and satisfying than flying commercially. We all know in the business world time is money and a missed flight or delayed one, might cost thousands of dollars. Who wants to portray an unprofessional image with their business associates when so much is at stake.

A False Oxymoron

While everyone thinks that private jets are extremely expensive, the truth is that they are becoming more and more economical, especially in comparison to commercial airlines. Private jet companies have lowered their prices so that they can compete with commercial airlines. Many small businesses have hired private jet companies to charter their friends, instead of buying bulk tickets on commercial flights. In addition, several new companies are offering a new program which has enticed a lot of new business. Some companies offer membership programs to their customers. When customers achieve membership, they then receive discounts on their flights. This is a very successful strategy, and many companies are now using this strategy.

Secrets For Traveling by Charter Jet - Get the Most From a Charter Flight

By Christine OKelly
Traveling by charter jet improves the comfort of your travel by eliminating many of the issues associated with commercial flights. However, some people fail to take full advantage of the benefits gained through charter flight. With these industry secrets, you can further improve your level of satisfaction with your travels.

Pack Wisely

Charter jet passengers often make the mistake of packing incorrectly. Some pack far too many items, making it difficult to board the charter flight. Moving several heavy bags makes moving the bags to and from hotels and airports difficult. Others pack too light because of space and weight restrictions. While it makes it fast and easy to move around, they often forget important items such as nausea suppressant, hair brushes, and other needed items.

Find out how much luggage the carrier recommends, and plan for it. Make a list a few days ahead of time with all the items you think you will need. Go back over it the next day, take off the items you won't need after all, and add on any items you forgot the first time. Pack up, and do one more check before leaving. You'll be glad you did once you arrive at your destination.

Make Use Of The Perks

A charter flight provider generally offers a number of additional services to make your trip all the more enjoyable. When you book a charter jet, be sure to ask what they have on the plane. This might include drinks, entertainment such as movies, and bedding for long or overnight flights. Many passengers are so accustomed to commercial providers that they become too shy to ask, or they fail to think about these additional services altogether.

If you plan this part of your trip with enough notice, you might be able to request specific meals, additional pillows, certain movies, and many other benefits. These things set private services apart from commercial providers.

Plan For The Charter Flight

Passengers often spend so much time planning their trip that they forget about the time spent on the charter jet. With such a large chunk of generally uninterrupted time, a relaxing trip is the ideal time to enjoy some of the things you enjoy doing. Read a book, work on a hobby or project you've wanted to get at, listen to your favorite music, write, or do any number of things you enjoy or would like to get finished.

Be Reasonable

The provider will do all they can to meet your needs. However, they still have rules and restrictions. Weather, technical problems, and space restrictions are good examples. The provider often finds these situations far more stressful than the passengers often do since the quality of their service is their livelihood.

Regardless of whether you are a family from a small town, or a business professional from Chicago, charter jet service has the unique ability to make anyone's trip comfortable. Armed with these secrets, you may never take anything but a charter flight again.

The Problem With Private Jets

By Earl Ayrford
If you've given private jets consideration as your new means of travel, but have yet to actually make the commitment, your hesitation might be founded on solid grounds. Private aircraft are easily the utmost in convenience and luxury, but that doesn't excuse the fact that they might also be an unnecessary expense and even unsafe.

Private Jet Safety

There is a very real concern over safety in any aircraft. If safety is your concern regarding owning or even just flying on a private aircraft, you should review the business jet manufacturer, the model of the plane you'll be flying on, and the safety and flight qualifications of the pilots and flight companies.

FAA Regulation 135 orders plane manufacturers and owners to maintain certain standards with their planes to keep them up-to-date and safe for flight. If you are arranging a flight on a private jet, drill the company about their information and ask how they are complying and exceeding the guidelines. If you own your own private plane, you'll need to ensure you jet is inspected and tested regularly by competent and knowledgeable inspectors in order to meet these stringent guidelines.

If you have any concerns about the safety of a private jet or its pilot, never ignore your instinct. Get the information you need to feel comfortable before flying, or simply arrange a different flight in a situation where you feel you're in good hands.

Outrageous Expense

Private aircraft are not cheap. The cost of the plane alone is not the only check you'll be writing when you acquire a private jet. You'll also be responsible for the cost of insuring the bizjet, the salaries of your flight crew, the cost of maintaining the plane and the cost of storing it in a local hangar.

All of this adds up quickly, and if you're not actually in the sky flying every week at some point, your money isn't being spent in a wise way necessarily. The expense of the private jet is outweighing its usefulness. Owning a private jet might be a dream of yours, but if you're leery of taking on the huge cost in exchange for a bit of luxury, it can be hard to write that first check.

It might be easier, however, if you investigate other options when it comes to private planes. Outright ownership is only one of many alternatives available if you want the utmost in luxury and comfort. You may be wealthy, but you don't stay rich by spending your money unwisely. If you're not in need of a jet full-time, you can always enter a fractional ownership program.

Private Jet fractional ownership programs give you a chance to earn tax benefits and entitle you to your jet when you want it, but as you only own a portion of it, others can use it (and share the costs) when you don't need it. Business jet membership programs work almost the same way.

What to Expect on Your First Private Jet Flight

By Patrick Margetson-Rushmore
Flying on a private jet can be refreshingly different from the usual airline experience. London Executive Aviation (LEA) chief executive Patrick Margetson-Rushmore explains what to expect so that your trip goes smoothly.

It's your first time flying on an executive jet: so what should you expect from the experience? In some ways a private jet flight is very similar to using a mainstream airport and airline (only much better). In some ways it's markedly different.

It's hugely different, for example, in the amount of time you have to spend on the ground before take-off.

One of the biggest surprises for novice travellers is that for an 0830 flight, you arrive at 0815. If it's your first time flying in a private jet, we say 'Please don't turn up 1½ hours in advance.' If you do arrive very early you may be able to take off earlier than planned, but it can depend on the availability of air traffic control 'slots'. The major advantage of private jet travel is that you don't have to waste time, and that starts before you even get to the airport.

The other huge difference in a private flight is that the schedule revolves around you, not the aircraft. If you need a private jet to Paris and Nice and be back in London that night, not only does a business jet give you the ability to follow that tight timetable (almost certainly unattainable by mainline carriers), it can be tweaked as the day progresses.

If anything overruns or times change during the day, you make what we refer to as 'the 30-second phone call' and that's it: we rearrange the flight times, Customs, refuelling, catering and any other arrangements.

Customers on their first private jet flight often assume that they turn up at the main terminal of an airport and will be taken through some sort of 'fast track' security clearance procedure. They are frequently surprised to be directed not to the main building, but rather to the executive jet operator's private terminal.

These will almost invariably have a comfortable lounge - usually with Internet access - and where there may be just one or two other passengers awaiting their flights. If you are early you will be able to unwind and enjoy refreshments. However, likely as not, you will be met on arrival by your pilot, who, after a short briefing, will escort you straight to your waiting aircraft.

Security? This is one area where you can expect the same treatment to which you are accustomed at major airports, but with a slight twist. Your passport details will have been submitted to the operator in advance of the flight (preferably a few days before), who will have cleared them with the national border authorities. When you arrive at the airport there will still be a security check, but you're in a queue of one or two people, not 500. The whole process is therefore completed in minutes, making your time in the terminal reassuring but brief.

Onboard catering on an executive jet is another major difference over commercial airlines. You specify what you want.

If you have an early morning flight it will generally be a continental breakfast - a combination of toast, croissants, pastries and fruit. If you want something specific, that can be arranged. One of our passengers recently specified Godiva drinking chocolate for his children. This can be bought in very few places in the UK, but we were able to track it down in time for the flight (the children turned out to prefer juice that day!)

On small to mid-size executive jets, lunch will be a cold meal, normally sandwiches (although sushi is also a frequent request), but if a group of executives is travelling together on one of the larger business jets, these have hot food galleys and passengers can basically specify whatever they want in advance. There will be a full complimentary bar, although these days business passengers tend to stick to soft drinks.

People making their first private jet flight sometimes nervously ask if their pilots are trained to the same standards as airline crew. We've even been asked if the pilot has a licence!

The answer, of course, is an emphatic 'Yes'. We operate to exactly the same regulations and use the same licences as airlines; there's absolutely no difference whatsoever. It's a highly-regulated industry. Everyone gets checked regularly. All captains are highly-trained commercial pilots, many of whom have previously flown for airlines or the Air Force. Some companies, such as ourselves, also make a point of not using freelancers, which means that we can fully vouch for all our pilots.

And as for your arrival at the other end, here your operator can also help to make your life smoother. Whether it is booking a limousine to meet you at the aircraft steps, arranging an excellent hotel, or something more particular, your private jet company should be pleased to help. The fundamental point is that, as a private jet traveller, the world really revolves around you. Get used to the idea and take full advantage.

Charter Aviation Companies - The Top Ten Things to Look For While Shopping Around

By Jason M. Robinson
Charter aviation companies provide wonderful services that are far and away worlds better than can be gotten from commercial airline companies. The pet friendliness of these services and the freedom to take quite a lot of luggage alone is really quite superb. But how can we be sure to choose the right company for us? We all have our specific needs which should be met, and so we need to be sure that we choose the right company to meet our specific needs. Here are ten questions which should be answered before you decide from which of the charter aviation companies that are available to use;

#1 - How many aircraft do they have in their fleet?

#2 - Do they have light (5-8 passengers), medium (7-9) and heavy (9-15) jets?

#3 - Do they also have business-sized (12-29 passengers) private jets?

#4 - Do they also have turbo prop jets and sea planes if need be?

#5 - How many different models do they have in their fleet?

#6 - Is their network of jets world-wide?

#7 - How are their ground transportation services; what vehicles do they have to offer?

#8 - In-flight services; do they have catering or in-flight spa? How diverse is their food selection?

#9 - Do they have attractive membership programs with added privileges?

#10 - Amount of pet friendliness; can we have our pets ride freely and unconfined on-board with us, and what type of pet food is available?

Keeping these things in mind makes choosing which is best from the many charter aviation companies out there. Once we're sure that we've found the right one that meets all of our needs, we can then move on to enjoying the rest of the trip.

For a look at the best of charter aviation companies, please read further on my website, which talks about chartering aircraft, and what certain companies have to offer.
