Save Money on Airfares - 3 Tips to Get the Best Deals on Airline Travel

Their are a few methods that you can use in order to save money on airfares. Most people seem to think that the only way to go about this is to go through a travel agent, or hopefully find some tickets cheap online. I am here to tell you that you can get tickets for much cheaper than you ever thought possible if you know where and how to look. Here I am going to give you three tips that will help you do just that.

1. The first thing that you need to think about doing if you are trying to save money on airfares is to take flight times that are at odd hours, or that most people do not want to take. This is a fantastic strategy to get cheap airline flights because the airline companies do not want to lose money by not having people on board, so you can negotiate and get a great deal.

2. The second thing that you can do is contact the airlines via the hotline. Most people do not think of doing this because they believe the prices will actually be higher. If you call at the right times however you can actually save a lot of money by using this method. The key is to call around midnight, which is right after the airlines typically update the deals or specials that will be going on the following day.

3. The best method that I have found to save money on airfares is to know someone on the inside. By this I mean you need to know a current employee or ex employee that has the ability to get you some great deals on your airline tickets. These people tend to know strategies and tips for getting great deals that are not released to the public, so I suggest that you start doing this today!
